Good afternoon.

I am currently going over the tutorial "Creating an SAP HANA XS Hello World Application Using SAP HANA Studio" (Link). When trying to add a new cloud system I received the following error message:

All the steps before this one were completed without any issues. I am also able to connect to the SAP Cloud Platform Cockpit without any problems. Any ideas what could be done to fix the problem? I don't think it is a issue with the proxy settings, as I was able to complete the "Hello World" Java application tutorials without any problems. Thank you.

If you are trying from ehind a firewall or your office network, make sure you have the proper proxy settings configured in studio/eclipse.

Go to, Window > Preferences > General > Network Connection,

Active Provider: Manual

Check HTTP, HTTPS and SOCKS and enter the proxy information and user/pwd if necessary

Hello Benedict. Thank you for your reply. I've changed my proxy settings as suggested. It did not work at first, but after restarting Eclipse I was able to proceed. Thank you!!!
