    Hi,

The busines area determination is not done, that is why the error.

Go to enterprise structure --> Assignment --> Sales and distribution --> Business area determination --> Maintain the rule (1,2,3) --> Maintain the business area wiht respect to the rule you are selecting.

Maintain business area assignment with respect to your plant/division and valuation area/division.

    Prase

    Hi Lakshman

    <b>Follow the path</b>

SPRO -> Sales & Distribution -> Basic Function -> Accounting Assignment/Costing -> Business Area Accounting Assignment -> Define Rule by Sales Area -> Select your Sales Area and assign a rule.

<b>If you had select rule 001</b>

SPRO -> Sales & Distribution -> Basic Function -> Accounting Assignment/Costing -> Business Area Accounting Assignment -> Assign Business Area to plant and division

<b>If you had select rule 002</b>

SPRO -> Sales & Distribution -> Basic Function -> Accounting Assignment/Costing -> Business Area Accounting Assignment -> Assign business area to sales area.

You need to specify the rules you want to use for determining the business area for each sales area

    Three Rules are available

1.Business area assignment by Plant/Item division

2.Business area assignment by Sales Area

3.Business area assignment by Sales organization/Distribution Channel,Item Division

To do these configs In Customizing Go to

IMG ->Enterpries Structure ->Assignment ->Sales and Distribution ->Bussiness Area Account Assignment

    Thanks
