How to maintain e-mail address directly in output condition record?

We have been e-mailing order confirmation output with output medium 5, external send and will be sending additional output like invoices and purchase orders with e-mail. The biggest issue that we have is segregating the e-mail address for the customers and vendors without creating more partner functions. A simpler approach would be to set e-mail addresses directly in the output condition records themselves instead of maintaining them in the customer and vendor masters. Is there a partner function or different output medium that would allows us to set the recipient e-mail addresses in the output condition records? We still want the SAPscript or Smartforms output to be included as an attachment in the e-mail.

Take a look at the note 2412475 Enhancement of Email Functionality for Output Control - Customer Connection D11277

Not exactly what you're asking but might help. It was delivered as part of 2017 SD customer connection program. I believe it requires some ABAP work and not just installed via SNOTE though.

Thank you, Jelena, Not exactly what I was looking for but it could be helpful. I had noticed that updates to the e-mail directly in the sales documents did not affect the e-mail address used to send the e-mail output.

It should, unless you're using something non-standard or email was updated after output has already been generated or there is some other odd scenario.

We use the standard output programs and if the email address is changed in the document then that's where the output is sent for that partner.
