Rest adapter conversion issues at Receiver side

Hi Experts ,

I am working on Rest to Rest scenario . From source system, I am getting Date field as

"Timestamp": "/Date(1406014140601)/", when we are POST the data into Receiver system the date filed seems like "Timestamp":"\/Date(1406014140601)\/"

Note : every "/" replacing with "\/" symbols

Could you please suggest how to remove escape characters from out JSON structure .

Thanks in adavance

Best ,Shiva

    HI Shiva

I have faced this issue many times in REST adapter. If you are using the xml to JSON conversion of the adapter, then error is bound to happen. Escaping of forward slash is default behavior of REST adapter.I bypassed it by using a Java Mapping. I used a Java Mapping to convert xml to JSON. I am not sure whether there is any other method to bypass it.

    Please check this thread:

There is a Java Mapping code as well
