Forma of P&L

Hi Guys,

While taking print out of Trial balance, I am getting the Title accounts as a bold one.

In case of P&L, I am not getting the title accounts as a bold one. It is very cumbersome when i take print out of P&L , since i am not able to identify the title accounts.Same is applicable to Balance Sheet.

Can anybody help without suggesting an add-on.

Define a new variable holding the account name, epcify the font as bold, and lay it directly over the existing account name variable.Define another variable - and set it to the text of "N".Then create another variable for the Postable field. Finally, 2 more variable, one where the Postable field==variable of "N", and one where Postable field != "N". Then set the "Link to" for the variables of the regular and bold account names to the equal or not equal variables.

The end result (even if it's clumsy with all of the variables) is that the bold account name will print if its a title account, and the regular account will print is it's a regular account. If you ever print reports with inactive accounts, those will bold, also, since the active and title accounts share a field. May want to check the level, too, and add a check for it being one of your summary levels.

One suggestion - open the Income Statement report, go into its print layout, and apply a different font on the account based on whether it is a title account.
