FU split in SAP TM

Hello, experts

I' d like to ask about FU split.

For example, FU would have the big volume 1 item (1 item, 10 TON ) and

if there would be avialable two 8 TON truck only.

In my understanding, optimizer could not split the FU and not assigned to FO.

If we would like not to operate in manual for creation FU and FO, should we make some FUBRs with considering the limitation of resources?

If you know the another solution, please advise me.

Hello,

Yes, if you want to split the FU, then you need to create a FUBR to describe how you want the split to occur. For your example, here, I assume you would set the split quantity to 8 tons. The FUBR would create two FU for your 10 ton item, one FU with 8 tons and one FU with 2 tons.
