Hi All,
We have a custom program which we use as a self service to the end users to change password, extend validity, unlock account etc of any particular SAP backend system. Now we have an issue with the change password functionality. When a user changes password of any backend system from the tool, the status shows as productive password (as we are internally setting the password provided by the user as final password using BAPI_USER_CHANGE FM) in logon data of SU01, but in the change document the password status is not displayed as productive. It shows that the password is initial and the initial password is changed. So not sure why the status in logon data of SU01 is not matching that of change document.
Can anyone please guide me to solve this issue.
SU01
Change document showing password changed but status not set to productive.
Thanks and Regards,
Navya

Hi all,
Any inputs on this question?
And is there any different behaviour on LDAP and UME users with BAPI_USER_CHANGE or SUSR_USER_CHANGE_PASSWORD_RFC FM?
Thanks and Regards,
Navya
