CDS View - Question on Filter on Dimension View

Hello,

I'm building virtual data models using the following architecture:

Basic View -> Composite View -> Consumption View

In the Composite view, I'm creating all the associations to my Dimension Views.

My requirement is to have a filter on the consumption view on an "Attribute" of my dimension view (pardon me, I have a BW background).

See below:

I've associated ZBD_CUSTOMER_SALES on my PayerSales field in the Composite view:

ZBD_CUSTOMER_SALES has attributes, and I've explicitly added the CustomerGroup and renamed it CustGrpPayer in the Composite View:

Now in my consumption view, I've added the Filter annotation to CustGrpPayer:

And when I run the report in RSRT, I can see the filter:

My issue is that I don't have the Match Code available, like the Account Number has.

I've tried multiple annotations to try to get it to appear with no success.

In BEx, if we have a Navigational Attribute, we can build variables on them, which is how I was expecting this to work when I explicitly add the dimension as part of the model.

Is there any way to get the Match Code to appear when using filters on attributes of Dimension Views?

Much appreciated!

Marcelo
