I want to expose a Personas flavor app to Fiori Launchpad on SAP Cloud Platform, SCP.

Summarising the steps that I have followed, below:

I have connected a backend S4/HANA system to the Cloud using an SAP Cloud Connector following the blog below:

https://blogs.sap.com/2016/11/27/launch-classical-uis-from-hana-cloud-portal/

With regards to the Maintenance tool, I have created a transport request using the blog below and added this to a custom technical catalog assigned to an existing system alias:

https://wiki.scn.sap.com/wiki/display/Img/Transporting+Personas+Objects

I then replicated this catalog to the front end server as per this blog (not sure how relevant for the SCP - Fiori Launchpad scenario, though):

https://help.sap.com/viewer/a7b390faab1140c087b8926571e942b7/7.51.1/en-US/522749ec852a4779845ee028e5b950a1.html

Destinations in SCP configured as per this blog:

https://blogs.sap.com/2016/11/27/launch-classical-uis-from-hana-cloud-portal/

RFC connections - SAP GUI - Created 2 RFC destinations - 1 for <system alias>_RFC (type 3) and 1 for <system alias>_HTTP (type H)

Finally, when we try to create a new app on FLP site, it does not show any backend technical catalog.

Developer console shows an empty response for the service call -

However, this request never reaches to the SCC.

Additionally, I have referred following documentations and blog-posts:
