Hi Everyone,

Regarding performance wise which Table Control is better to use in SAPUI5 applications.

Either "sap.m.Table" or "sap.ui.table.Table" ?

Can someone please suggest ?

Thanks,

Srinath

I would go with sap.ui.table.Table.

Thanks

Thank you Dennis!

Can you please give a short description on how the performance can be improved in sap.ui.table.Table

Will there be any difference the way it binds data (client/server) ?

Thanks,

Srinath

Hi Srikanth,

This may also help you decide which table to use

Considering future perspective, stick to sap.m library.

Thank you Sharath.

Currently we are using sap.m.Table in our product. When updating the Table, since it has to update the values for each cell it takes time to render on the UI. So, thought of using sap.ui.table.Table to check if we can gain some time.

Srinath

Not sure, if UI.table gives better results. Considering that m.table is designed for mobile view this control should be better suited for better performance.

However, it is good idea for you to try with ui.table and confirm the performance.
