BI 4.2 SP3 schedule to SFTP with SSH-2 security is failing

Hi Team ,

Environment : BI 4.2 SP3 .
we are facing issue in scheduling webi report as excel/csv to sftp. Most of the times schedule showing failed status,but in sftp I see schedule out put file with 0KB.

error message :

connection error. []: [CrystalEnterprise.Sftp] in instance history.

destination_sftp: exception caught while putting source file [D:\Program Files (x86)\SAP BusinessObjects\SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 4.0\Data\procSched\XXX.AdaptiveJobServer\CHILD0\JOB1\Test Report_30_3706756254865343140.xlsx] to sftp server [10.5.2.12] as destination file [BI_PTD_PM/AM_PLANT_1001_SYNC/From_NONPRD2.xlsx]. Details: [Something went wrong while writing data. Please try again].in logs .

sometimes only out put with less 10 KB is sending to sftp .SFTP team verified there is no restriction on file size,file type ,characters for files .

Did you came through this issue?
sftp is using SSH-2 security .

were you able to resolve the issue? we are facing similar issue with SFTP. we can see 0 KB file on SFTP site.

as per SAP Note 2581781, issue is fixed in following versions .I didn't get chance to test.

Hi Sateesh -

Did you resolve the issue? We're also seeing same issue. We have upgraded to SP4 but our sftp reports are failing as like you have. We can see the file with 0KB and schedule status failed. FTP is again working. Also, we have ensured above note FINGERPRINTs are correct.

Please let us know if you got solution from SAP.

Yes ,we have made configuration as per note and Ueda instructions .SAP ticket is also raised .We are not able to trace issue .

as mentioned up to 10 KB is file delivering ! .There is no restriction on file size ,no time outs set at SFTP .

+additional information ,

we tried from BODS ,ended up getting below error

<sftp> protocol. Error: <(-31) SFTP Protocol Error>

below is error message ,from fiddler .

fiddler.network.readresponse.failure> Session #22 raised exception System.Net.Sockets.SocketException An established connection was aborted by the software in your host machine .

How can we resolve this ? Any configurations to apply at SFTP or BIP ?

Not sure about this one, if SSH-2 security is the problem or something else.
