This seems to be one of the most basic reports any company that holds inventory would want to run, but I can't figure out how to get B1 to give me this information.
I'm running B1 2005 SP 01 PL 31.
Hello Derek,
SBO out of the box does not have a report for this.
How to go about getting this report would depend on what your basis for calculation would be.
If you are trying to do annually, then one of the metrics would be to calculate the
TOTAL COGS
-
= No of TURNS
AVG INVENTORY COST
Thanks

Right, the overall math is elementary, but it isn't so easy to calculate it by SKU. It seems like it should be included where B1 calculates the average inventory value based on a user selected term (daily, weekly, monthly) by SKU.
Does XL Reporter have a report like this built? I'd rather not build it from scratch, seeing as there must be hundreds of companies out there that need and probably already have a solution.
I'm disappointed that B1 isn't built to handle such a standard report out of the box.

Hi,
This seems to be customized report. You have reporting tools options to be used like XL reporter, Crystal report (it will be needed to develop store procedure), Reporting service. I am not sure if the standard SBO can't have the report like that.
