Addition of new TAB at Material Master screen

Former Member

Hi Experts,

I want to add one new tab in between "Descriptions" and "Unit of Measure" tab (under "Additional Data" section in material master). That should hold few language dependent "Brand and Product" data. But, I have no idea is it possible or not.

Please let me know the process if it is possible.

Thank You.

Hi,

Thank you for all of those links. But, I think there is some gap between my problem and my way of representation the issue.

Actuall I want to add a new TAB (like Description tab or Unit of Measure tab) in material master screen under "Additional data" section.

This new tab should be similar to existing "Description" tab.

My first question is it possible or not? Because every where I found we can add some subscreen under an existing tab and for that we have to change some config from SPRO.

Please let me know.

Thank you once again.

Hi,

This is possible and we can aceive it. go to SPRO->Logistoc General->Material Master->Configure the material Master->Create a program for customized subscreen.

Now after creating a program still you have to a lot. you need to understand how your new program will be configured with materail master view. Actually there are two important transaction related to this OMT3B and OMT3E, both the transaction are the part of the node tree which i have written above from SPRO.

Now go through the thread which was written by me only and try to understand. I had successfully developed it and hope it's easy to understand.

If You have more query post it back.

Kindly reward points for helpfull answers.
