Dhanush,

Can you please copy paste your file here...

Note : While importing make sure you select category as "wsdl"..default value is "xsd".

Hi,

Check the file whether it has an entry like ' encoding="utf-8" '.

Try in XML Spy since you are able to open it in IE

Hi,

This seems to be Character Encoding problem of XML. Check which character encoding is used in XML. XML supports various character encodings like ISO, UTF etc. Some of the characters are not accepted in ISO encoding and hence XML file is not opened throwing parsing exception as in your case.

Check first line of you file. it should have an entry like ' encoding="utf-8" '.

If it is ISO then try changing it to one mentioned above.

Also, for verifying whether it is this problem, you could open file in XML editor and trace the character which is not getting parsed. If it looks like a special character (like euro sign, or some different language letters like used in Finnish, French etc) then it could very well be because of Character Encoding used in XML.

Thanks,

Bhavish

Hi

Try using Altova XML Spy.

Open the file using XMP spy or Stylus Studio. Validate the file.

It might be possible when some one copy the XML, WSDL file

its show like that

<b>-</b><wsdl:.....

if there are <b>"-"</b> in your source file before any wsld element then u have to remove it...else open the file in Explorere..right click--view source and save that as *.wsdl on your desktop and then try to import it.
