    MSS is not delivered with home page as ESS. Dont worry make sure you have all the services working as they are shown. There are attendance related and OM related reports. If you need more info for cross check just go to help.sap.com and search business packages and check in MSS for all the services available.

      Hi Experts --

      I've worked with ESS/MSS for ECC5 and ECC6... It's odd... on ECC5, MSS did have the Overview page like in ESS... But, not on ECC6, MSS uses the Detailed Navigation panel.... similar to the 4.7 version. It's almost like SAP reverted BACK -- What gives??? Does anyone know the scoop with this?? Just curious...

    @Karen

    With ESS, the assumption is that not all employees may be computer savy, hence the homepage framework is a nicer, user-friendlier way to help them get to where they need. For managers, the complaint I beleive was that it was "too many click throughs to get to the actual work", hence the Homepage Framework for MSS was removed (well, it is still there in the detailed nav, but let's not go there). They actually still do have the MSS framework there if you want to use it, you just need to set up our iViews/worksets/roles to use it. Also, the "sitemap" functionality of the new sitemap iView helps mimic a lot of what the Homepage Framework does.
