Hi All,

this question is regarding BODS project.

we are starting to switch to use central repository for code update and version control [ we earlier used atl files].

Please suggest me on the options/process to take backup of central repository on a regular basis.

[i am checking on the backup process, since we had an issue with central repo recently which had got corrupted and we had to delete and recreate it, so had to lose all data in it]

Hi Swetha N

You have to take the backup of database on which Central repository is created. check with your DBA.

backup options depends on underlying DB which you are using for central repo.

you might opt for daily differential backup's and weekly full backup schedule. Can be automated thru batch job scheduling.

Hi Sweta,

Best option is metadata back as you are already aware or other option you can write a script to take backup of secure central repository as per your requirement.
