We recently upgraded BSI from 7.0 to 8.0. The performance has gone from tolerable to PAINFULLY slow. In fact, we had to kill a job that was running for 17+ hours on a mere 21,000 employees. The program as RPCALCU0, the report was SAPLPBSU.
Any suggestions as to where to start looking into why?
Thanks!
Vince
Update: Found a TON of CPIC errors on the application server:
>Communication error, CPIC return code 027, SAP return code 456
> CPI-C function: CMINIT(SAP)
I have pulled SAP notes and have started to debug.
Note 47682 - Activating the CPIC trace
Note 516073 - Timeout during connection setup
