MRP and availability date from other plant

Hi All experts,

I have problem in MRP calculation. Please help me:

In this case, MRP runs for material in two plant with this information:

Material No: 137

MRP data in plant 1000:

MRP TYPE :PD

Lot size: EX

Safety stock:10000

Procurement type :F(51: procurement from PN01)

In house production :10 days

Procurement type: E(in house production)

In house production:10 days

MRP data in plant PN01:

MRP TYPE: PD

Lot size: EX

Procurement type: E(in house production )

In house production :10 days

MRP run today 2017.03.09 for plants 100 and pn01 . In md04 for plant 1000, sap create PR with delivery date: 2017.09.03. it's ok.

in pn01 , because in house production date and my config (no allowed for past date) , sap create planned order with start date :2017.09.03 and finish date :2017.09.16.(forward for current date)

I think if my planned order in pn01 has delayed (difference between PR delivery date from 1000 and planned order finished date in pn01) so that sap should be considered in rescheduling in 1000 and change delivery date in PR FROM 1000 TO planned order finished date. In otherwise , sap should be consider availability date in other plant .

best regards,

Jalil .

Hello

During the MRP run, both plants will be planned independently. First MRP will plan the delivery plant and later the supplying plant.

When planning the delivery plant, MRP will not check the stock or the date of the requisitions in the supplying plant.

So there is no way to do what you want during the MRP run.

You may try to run an ATP check in the STO to confirm if the components are available.

Hi Almeida,

Thanks for your answer. Is it possible after MRP run , we use ATP (using function module or other solution) for planned order(collective ) for availability date checking and updating . After end of ATP , we running MRP again. (If we have periodic lot sizing )

Hello

Please observe that MDVP will not update the finish date of the planned order.
