QM Quality Management First question

As since go live there is still not one question present on the primary tag "PLM Quality Management (QM)", I just take the opportunity to

a) test if this tag is really working and

b) have this question be a kind of anchor

So welcome everyone, especially the constant contributors of the old SCN QM space. Take the chance to leave a comment here (even though this is NOT the coffee corner...).

Thanks to Craig I was able to bypass the huge list of generic questions and get back to our QM space, even though only being able to get there by tags is incredibly stupid in my opinion.

I tried to go back and update my SCN thread about QA11 and posting HUs to blocked stock and getting a reason for movement, but I was unable to find the QM archive from SCN.

I'm also getting all kinds of 400 errors using Chrome. IE seems to be somewhat stable.

Craig, I flagged your comment to alert moderator. So we'll see how that works.

Even if you would have found your old forum thread, you would not have been able to update it... As far as I have understood you would have to recreate this as a question here again.

Wow, so they are essentially takes years and years worth of questions and answers and tossing them out the window. Unless the archive comes up in search results through this site?

No. the archives will be searchable as far as I know.

It will take a a few weeks probably for the web crawlers however to index the new locations.

But open questions without responses are basically abandoned there and will need to be recreated.

I whish I could do that on my implementations for my client with all their open inspection lots, purchase and production orders!!! 🙂

Thanks indeed for your 1st question in this new platform. Well, I too was trying to understand how things are working here and what is the shortcut to jump on to this path ;-). Hopefully this new path gets some tractions soon and we are back on answering some nice questions!

I finally found some things in my moderation queue. I don't think they had me updated as a moderator for this tag. Now I am. All your replies were stuck in pre-moderation!

With this new platform, it appears you can provide feedback in two ways. One as a comment on the question. (nothing went to pre-moderation for that). Second as an answer to the question, which appears they went to moderation. I don't know if that was to due to a user status on Arigit or Jimmy. Not sure.

So if you have feedback for the Original Poster (OP), you can ask questions of them as comments. If you think you have a concrete answer, (or maybe a somehting akin to quicksand), then put it in as an answer.

Also, answers can be commented on too. but not answered.

Got it??? Cause I'm not sure I do!!

And please.. bear with me on the moderation.. It's changed drastically as well and I'm trying to learn it too.
