Hide Fiori Category/Role in AJAX standards page

Dear All,

We are in the process of transforming our ESS/MSS apps into FLP. We adopted a strategy for end users where we would like to do this conversion in phases. Until the FLP is mature and covers all our apps we would like to publish two flavors via AJAX (old) theme as is where users can access all applications and the new FLP URL for the converted ones.

But there is a small problem with this approach. When we assign any Fiori role to end user then he is able to see this role in old AJAX page at Top level navigation. We don't want the user to see Fioir stuff in old page and would like to hide them. User is having old ESS portal roles and also the new Fiori role.

Please advise the best approach to handle this problem.
