If you know the concept called Drill through, it will be easy for you. if we have same object in both hierarchies(Multiple hierarchies) and when user wants to drill down at report level it will show him the dependent hierarchy names(for this case 2 hierarchies) then user can select which way(hierarchy)he want to see the data.
