solution Manager, As Java and enterprise portal

Hello:

I installed the Solution manager 4.0 R3 and able to se the AS Java running. But I'm not able to login to the irj/portal to access the portal pages.

Does installing the Solution Manager also install the Enterprise portal. If not what should I do to get it installed.

Ravi,

Solution Manager Installation doesnt have portal. If you install ABAP+JAVA it will installa JAVA engine but not the portal contents. To get portal you have to install you have to download Enterprise Portal from SMP ( service market place) . EP is installed on top JAVA stack.

Thanks Prince. Now I'm confident with my installation.

Also if you know could you please let me know which installations I need to download. Can I do a add on to the existing installation.

I have a CD set for AS Java. Do you think that may have some of the components for these installations.

If you have the entire SAP Netweaver 2004/2004s CDs then portal will be there

Also I looked into the CD contents of Netweaver 2004s. But the EP installer is not very obvious in that list.

Could you suggest what title I should look under if you know.
