When I am scheduling my report it fails and throwback the error.

I am using the prompt "As of date" which populates dates values from the object as of date in universe.

For creating "as of date " I am using @prompt functionality in where clause with decode function

ex:

Fact.as_of_date in decode (@prompt(,,,,,{Latest},)),'Latest',sysdate-1,

@prompt(,,,,,{Latest},)),)

it gives error only for latest parameter which is not in list of value but for other dates it works fine.

    Hi Himanshu,

    Please try the below steps.

    1.Create a custom LOV's by writting decode in SQL(List of value based on SQL).

    2. Create a parameter and add this LOv's to this parameter.

    3. Drag the date object in query panel in WebI data provider and in Prompt place add Parameter values instead of new prompt.

      Hi Durga,

      Thanks for the inputs.But in my scenario I cannot use lov as The value would be in date time and another should be latest value which should run the report for 2 days back.and hence merging two different data type is though not possible

      I am using the concept of dynamic date parameter.

      It is working fine in earlier vversion before 4.2 but failed in 4.2 and moreover ,it is giving the issue only when I am scheduling the report.It works fine when I am viewing the report.
