Probleme to confirm partial production order

Hi Everyone ,

We currently move to SAP 🙂 , we transfer a project to the production mod , the problem is , the production have been create as 1 qty of an entire project , we now need to deliver 1/3 of this project , when I tried to do a partial confirmation for this of .33 , SAP moved all my cost and did a X3 on this cost and after that X.33 of this moved cost , so now I have the full cost of the entire project for only .33 of it , is there a way to confirm my partial production without moving the complete cost of the full qty 1 on the .33 that I confirmed ? because on tht part that I delivered I charge a 150000 but now have a 500000 cost , is there a way to tell SAP a percentage of the cost that I want to transfer from my WIP to this part of piece ??

Best regards and thank for your help

So I am not a PP Consultant but of course partial confirmation are possible but you have to change the default values to avoid posting the complete costs for labour.

The effective costs depends on how your master data and process is customized so it could be costs of material and/or Labour.

Example:

  • An order w/o backflush would only get labour costs confirmed amount * standard time / base quantity * Output price (based on activity type and cost center maintained in the work center master data). Material costs would only be posted if you do the movements manually or if you add them manually to the confirmation.
  • An order w/ backflush would act similar regarding the labour costs and but compared to the other example the material movements would be done automatically and create material costs.

My examples would differ if you use CO11 for you confirmation because in CO15 you only provide good and bad amounts of the target material and all items of the routing will be processed to calculated labour with standard times. In CO11 you can confirm routing item by routing item and therefore you would be able to insert other times as proposed by the routing which would affect the labour costs posted on your order.
