External document number not created in CATS

Hi,

I am using transaction CAT2 to post Timesheet data into the

CATSDB database.I am entering the controlling area,activity

type,cost center and the hours for the working days.When i save

the data,records are created in the CATSDB database.However,for

all the records created,no external document number is being

generated.I would need this external document number to be

generated.When i view the records in the CATSDB database with an

external document number,it is present only for the T90CLNT090

system.

I a using ECC 6.0 IDES.

Is there any configuration setting which controls this.In that

case,could you please let me know.I would greatly appreciate

it.
