Server authenticationerror after SR3 installation

Hi,

We have developed a html page ( page1.htm) in that we are setting some xMII session variable and opening a new page (page2.htm) using window.open.

In page2.htm i am getting xMII session variable and calling a transaction as below.

window.location.assign("http://<server>/Lighthammer/Runner?Transaction=<transactionname>&OutputParameter=FILE&DOCNO=123*IsBinary=true"). This transaction actually downloads a file from SAP.

This is working perfectly before implimenting SR3 installation. But now system is showing a login screen. SR3 installation might not be issue it might be with something else. But we are getting this issue after SR3 installation.

It will be great helpful if anyone can help.

Thanks,

Srinivas.

I presume you are already logged into xMII when you call page1.htm

      Just a guess.

Does the XML Connector's Auto Bind property has to do anything with this? It needs to be checked to link the BLS Input params automatically.

This might've refreshed and unchecked itself after your upgrade to SP3.

Why are you using a fully qualified url?

Keep your path relative with "/Lighthammer/Runner..." because if the person logs into http://ipaddress then uses your page with http://servername the fully qualified session is not valid anymore. This would be demonstrated by your symptom of getting the login page instead of the desired result.

    • Srinivas,

Try giving the second page a .irpt extension, also why are you using session properties? Do you want the value to persist the entire time the user is logged in? When using irpt pages you can just have the values in the URL and not worry about the session.
