PO without Costing

Hi experts,

recently i have this problem,

We have 2 new members, one reponsible in production order and another responsible in

production line.

First member create production order without costing, release , save and then send p/o to production.

Second member use MB31 good recieve from that p/o without cost.

How can i prevent this type of problem? Can i change warning message to error message? If possible how and where i should config?

i will give point for useful answer for sure.

Hi Hittisak,

In OPL8- Order type dependent paramters go to controlling tab and select "Do not calculate planned cost when saving" in the planned cost calculation field.

Then the order is not costed. Hope it solve your purpose. Kindly revert back if you need more information.

From your question What I understood is you want the costing to be automatic during release of the production order so that before you GR, the cost is calculated.

if so,

Do the following,

in OPL8

for the given order type and plant

in controlling tab,

planned cost calculation = 2(detremin planned cost when saving if released.)

save it.

it will work,

if my understanding is wrong, pl come back

I donot think it is possible to do a GI/GR without the ordder status REL. Std SAP doesnot allow this.

PLease confirm my understanding.

Hi,

OPL8-- Order type dependent parameters assign the costing varinats for the planning and actual costing varinats.

Maintain 1 0r 2in the Plannined cost calculation field.

this will make sute that the order is released with costing.

I think once this is costed you will have any issues even if the goods movement is done for the production order,
