RFC Destination

I am using SM59 to create a RFC Destination the problem I have is that I don't see the Registered Server option and neither do I see the Program ID when I try to create a RFC destination.

Another question is

Should we have a R3 type of connection or a TCP/IP type of connection for XI. When should either one of these should be used.
