Hi Experts,

I am PP guy, want to know about the SM12, SM13 applications.

SM12: Lock entries list

SM13: Update records.

I want to know more detail application of these T.C.

If user closed the session for the particular transaction, also system showing the locks. How can we avoid these? We don't have BASIS person rightnow.

I hope that locks can be deleted by selecting user and selct the deletion button.

Is there any way to do mass release of locks?

Can you guide for the above topic?

The best answers will be rewarded.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Surya

Hi,

Usually the session time out should takes care of this, or ask the user follow the normal log off procedure. Yes it can be mass release of locks, in sm12, menu lock entry> delete all or in sm13 shift click on multiple records to delete multiple update records.

Hope this is what you meant,

George

Please check

However, this procedure should be performed by Basis person. Lock entries could indicate a problem with your SAP system.
