Issue in SAP_NEW during ERP 6.0 EHP7 upgrade

Dear All,

During EHP7 upgrade on ECC 6.0, profile SAP_NEW has lost authorizations. When i checked the profile, i found that none of the sub profile are getting expanded that means the profile does not contain any authorizations after upgrade. The profile has sub profiles until "Authorizations for New Objects in Release 4.5A" only - subprofiles for further releases are missing in composite profile SAP_NEW.

Can you please help me to update SAP_NEW?

I tried by generating the role for SAP_NEW from SU25 but nothing has been changed in profile as it creates a SAP_NEW role only.

I believe you can regenerate the SAP_NEW profile with running report in SE38: REGENERATE_SAP_NEW

But this profile is obsolete. Please have a look into SAP notes:

1711620 - Role SAP_NEW replaces profile SAP_NEW
2227969 - SAP_NEW profile exists despite SAP Note 1711620
