hi all

is it possible to lock the description of a material while in PR or PO.where can i lock the description

    Dear,

    Yes, its possible,

    Just go to SPRO,

    MM-Purchasing--Purchase Order --Define screen layout at doc.level

    MM-Purchasing--Purchase Requisition --Define screen layout at doc.level

    Select the field selection and Tick the "Material description" as display only.

    Try the soln. provided by w1n

    For PR and PO creation/ change Trnx.( ie.ME21,22N/ME21,22,ME51,52N/ME51,52, ETC in screen layout of PR and Po
