Lock in Integrated Planning

Hi,

We are using integrated planning to update data.

user updates data with the WAD, but when they close the report the lock stay and thay can't update the data anymore, when a user close the web template how can we remove the lock.

Hi Eric,

closing the browser should close the session on the ABAP backend and thus also release the locks. Check notes in the area of component BW-BEX-ET-WJR, e.g.

when I close the browser the locks is not released I can see it in SM12.

Did you check the locks with RSPLSE? If there is no locking conflict tehere (last tab), delete the lock entry in SM12 and start again

I think it's my version of BI JAVA, due to the SAP NOTE 1027556 we need the SP12.

I would advise to upgrade directly to the latest patch 14. There are a lot of differences between SP 11 and 14!

Hi,

normally the lock should vanish itself. With SM12 you can delete lock entries. With RSPLSE you can analyse the locking. Use RSPLSE and find out what is the cause of locking
