Help on - Multiple IDOC to single flatfile (without BPM)

Former Member

I got a business need, that the ORDERS05 IDOC's should be collected on hourly basis and single flatfile should be generated for each and every hour. This scenario can be easily handled through BPM but I need the problem to be solved without BPM.

Please help me to overcome this.

N:1 is not possible without BPM.

To avoid BPM, u have to opt for some workaround like collecting the idocs in some file before passing it to XI.

HI prateek,

thanks for reply. in my case I should not use the method that u r suggesting since its an performance issue. I dono whether 'IDOC packaging will help me'. is there any other way in XI to collect the IDOC on time basis in adapter level..

Hi vijay,

thanks for your reply.

That blog speaks about creating a xml file directly from r/3 but my need is to collect all the IDOCs through a interface on XI in hourly basis.

i think the best way is to go for a BPM then.
