Why Profit Centre Document required ?

Dear sirs,

We are in the process of base line configuration. Are using ECC6.0,

along with NewGL functionalities in FI.

As per note number 826357, a dummy profit center is not required. We

have therefore not created it.

However on trying to maintain 'Set Control Parameters for Actual Data'

using tcode 1KEF, we could not maintain the control parmeters for

actual posting.

We are getting a message that controlling area is incomplete message

no. KM410 to this effect is displayed.

We have already gone ahead with creation of profit centers,

cost center and associated master datas.

We are not able to generate a profit center document as probably 1KEF

could not be completed.

<b>Is It necessary to get Profit centre document is we r using NewGL functionality in FI?</b>
