in performing STO there are two methods

1.one step

2.two step

--->what & when is the rationale for using these two methods ?

>when does the company uses

1.sto w/o sd delivery

2.sto with sd delivery

any real time scenarios if possible ?

Hi,

There are two steps STO's and One step STO's.

If you bring in the material through Material management without the relevence of SD , they do it with one step.

If SD is involved and it is billing relevent the two step procedure will be followed. This is a very simple answer. But the concept ot these are really wide.
