Hi Gurus,
While creating Po wat could be taken as reference PR or RFQ.
my question is which one is ideal to take as reference and why??
please explain in brief
Regards,
Subbu
Dear ,
If it is new procurement then you are taking ref of RFQ
If it is regular procurement you have to take ref of PR.
PR is IDEAL to take as reference as RFQ is generator only once not always.

RFQ - Request for Quotation.
PR - Purchase Requisition
For any material requirement we will create requisition first. Based on the requisition only we will send RFQ or Quotation to vendors.
As per business scenario PO from PR is the best practice.

If the PR is a standard PR without any source assign, then its more easier if we create PO ref from RFQ(that already maintain), because all the data (price, vendor, tax code, etc), already maintain and it will automatically adopt to PO data.
