Salaried to Hourly

Hello Gurus

I have the requirement converting a specific group of employees from being paid salary to being paid hourly. Can someone spot light on this issue.

hai..

u can change the payrol area from monthly to hourly... but changes will be effected at the end of current payroll period of exisitng payroll area

Use the wagetype model to assign specific group of employees as salaried and others as hourly.

Hello Kasi,

Update your configuration and the features for Basic Pay to allow entries on IT08 for hourly rates. Set up your features so that for the specific group of employees IT08 defaults to hourly while the rest remains as is.

Create new IT08 records for each employee that has to have the conversion.

The effective date for the conversion should be the first day of the pay period to avoid manual calculations by the Payroll team.
