Incoming RFC call

Hi all,

can you trace RFC incoming calls in a SAP system? Any RFC logs recorded?

I have a portal that call an RFC in SAP. How can I determine in SAP, witch USER and what are the parameter of the RFC function call, to determine if the portal has some error?

Sergio,

The single statistics records in the back-end ABAP stack will show the RFC activity and the user IDs involved. You can also use ST05 to activate an RFC trace, either for the entire system or a particular user. I'm not sure if this will give you call parameters or not; you'd have to try it.

In ST05 I could see the user and the rfc function being called. But not the parameters.

I tried the statistics (STAD?) and nothings was recorded there related to the RFC call. Do I need any type of preparation so the rfc calls are recorded in the ststistic?

Hi,

in STAD you will get the RFC calls and the user but not the parameters.

I don't think that the parameters are logged and I miss it too.

In ST03, you can get statistics of your RFC calls.
