XRS1387 Concurrent Session License count exceeded

Hi All,

I get this error in Server log as

The following error can be seen in the Afaria server message log. "XRS1387: Concurrent Session License count exceeded. The connection was refused. EXPLANATION: A Client requested to run a channel on this server, but this server is already running the maximum licensed number of concurrent sessions."

Found the KBA

1. I have restarted the Afaria Servers, but still after somtime i see the same error.

2. Afaria sizing guide is not clear to me, Could you please help us to understand more to set the value in outbound notification and Throttling Rate under Apple Notification Throttling


Afaria 7 SP16

No. of iOS devices 6K

What value do i need to set in outbound notification.

    Please restart all Afaria related components.

    1.Stop IIS
    2.Stop all Afaria Services
    3.Stop an residual Afaria processes executing
    4.Start all Afaria Services
    5.Start IIS
