As I noted CR Viewer 11 is old and not updates any more.

I don't have it so I can't test so not sure what would be the exact cause.

Download the latest and try again.

I believe it is CR Viewer. I suspect it is version 11 from the installation file (cv11-rc.exe).

1904 is a MSIExec error code which usually means the PC is missing either permissions to install or typically the REGSVR32.EXE is/or does not have all of the dependencies installed for this to run.

Also, are you using CR Viewer or CR Server or Business Object Enterprise?

And what version are you using?

It seems like you are using BOE XI which is long past it's support date/ end of life.
