Problem with getElementById in overflowContainer

I have written a javascript function to access some inputfields in a bsp-page via

getElementById(). the elements are in a overflowContainer.

Now the problem is, that the function getelementByID doesn't work.

Only if I write this <htmlb:content design="design2003"> <htmlb:page title = "test view "> instead of the overflowcontainer, it works.

But I have to use the overflowcontainer.

Can you help me?

best regards

Maybe if you provide us with more info we can help you.

Please, show us your js code and the layout of the bsp page.
