How to delete Contacts and Account in Hybris Marketing Cloud

Hi All,

I understand there are ways to set an Interaction contact as Cold and subsequently delete them from system using standard report.

Is there similar ways to set a contact /account as cold and then delete them from the system ?

Hi Arjun,

Yes there are application jobs available which can be used for deletion of contacts and related data from the system.

You can add criteria's while scheduling job including possibility of adding live target group.

Hi,

Will this also delete the interactions associated with the contact? The challenge I have is that we have turned on social listening and we are receive a proportion of tweets which are not relevant to the business. We don't want to change the key word that HCI is listening on, it is just bad luck that there is a slight overlap with something not relevant to the business.

Our intention is to:

1. Delete the Interactions so that the tweets no longer appear in the Sentiment Engagement Application

2. Delete the Contacts so that they don't take up our Contacts license quota

Hi Arjun,

For On-Perm,You can set the contacts to first cold using the report/t-code CUAN_CE_IC_SET_COLD

and the delete them using report/t-code CUAN_CE_IC_DELETE_COLD.

For Cloud-As mentioned above by Dinesh.

Hi Arjun,

Interaction Contact is just a technical hypernym for accounts and contacts.
