EXCISE NOT MAINT.

Dear sir,

In dev server i had made a ROH , VENDOR .& done migo , now i have done J1IEX -sel.capture invoice & mat doc & press ebnter. MSG COMES" EXCISE DETAILS ARE NOT MAINTAINED FOR THIS VENDOR "pl, tell in easy steps how to do it.

Hello,

Transaction code is J1ID

After open this

select in Excise status

Vendor excise details

Then press pencil symbol from screen

select new entries

and maintain all details on screen

YES I HAD DONE BUT I WANT TO KNOW THAT I HAVE not maintain any entries just copied & entered my vendor. pl tell me ECC NO -[ECC/RGN/PN/0001

EX REG NO -KDJFFFF , CENVAT it is not cheched bywat all this mean i m having less knowledge for excise. ven i had posted inv msg comes : Material has not been declared as input Material in ."

Goto J1ID, select CENVAT DETERMINATION, click on change enter the material plant combination there, give the material number in input and output material.

ONE MSG IS -- "Please check excise base for the item is zero !"

in cenvat deter i m entering plant 1110 but it is always taking 1100/ why it is so.
