Cancellation of Matrial Document with Deficit of SL unrestricted?

Hi MM gurus

We have to cancel two material documents.When we are doing this

getting this Message.

Deficit of SL unrestricted -use 1 CT XXXX(material)xxxx(plant)xxx(storage Loc).

I checked the stock in MMBE it is showing at plant level.

I tried in MC.9 stock is showing zero.

First document contains contains 7 line items.Second Material document contains one line item only.

can any body has the solution.

Thanks for the Reply.I checked the Material Document.These two Doc are created

for two STO between two plants.

We have to cancel the two Matrial doc.

I checked the delivery in VLO3N.it is fully processed.Checked the document flow in Delivery.

Store deliveries xxxxxx completed datexx

picking request xxxx completed. xx

TF to stock in transit xxxxx completed xx

Goods receipt xxxxx completed.xx

2.I checked the material in the storage location that is mentioned in material docs.stock is zero for most of the items.

as per the Analysis.This is fully processed STO.

At plant level negative stocks are not allowed for the two plants.

can you explain how to cancel step by step

Hi,

Check the date of Posting date of both the material document.

System automatically picks the orginal document posting date when you are canceling any material document.

Between these dates in your plant you might have posted the stock to other storage location.

As you told in MMBE it is showing at the plant level.

put all the storage locations for that material and plant in MMBE then check where the material is available in the Plant in which str location.

In MC.9 may be because of period variation the system is not showing the stocks.

First check orginal document posting date then all the preceeding document for that material from that date onwards.

Check and confirm on this.

What is the purpose of cancelling matl docs?

It seems that u have already consumed the goods and hence stock is deficit.

So credit goods to ur store stock from cost center and do cancellation.

BTW, what is the transaction of that matl doc?
