Auto Removal of Blank Schedule from Consolidation report

Hi,

We have a client requirement to removed Blank schedules from Consolidation related formatted report.

Below is requirement-

  • Heading should come at top with dates at against each schedule
  • Total should be shown at bottom after schedule ending
  • Only lines/schedule which has data should show.
  • There are around 80 entity and this should be applied for all 80 entities.
  • Note numbering should change automatically based on Data available in schedules.

Please help, if someone has done this.

    Sorry, but absolutely bot clear! It's better to provide some test report screenshot to illustrate your requirements.

    Hi,

    Please find below details for requirement

    1.Below is report format which we need to develop.

    • a.Heading should come at top with dates at per format.
    • b.Total should be shown at below
    • c.Only lines/schedule which has data should show.
    • d.There are around 80 entity and this should be applied for all 80 entities.
    • e.Note no should change automatically.

    In below screenshot- Heading should be shown (Other current liability along with column heading – 31 March 2017 etc should be shown)

    Blank line like current maturity and Less ; amortize --should be hide

    Schedule no 26 (short term provision) should be fully hide as there is no data in any line.

    2.We tried two option to do the same

    (a).We created one report for such each head and by attaching Local member at insert at raw before to get heading and dates by using local member format and member name change to get total value.

    1. Applied zero suppress on raw to hide the zero value for each schedule

    2. issue come when there is no data in report but local member will be shown as it is attached to report.

    In this solution, short term provision heading is showing but there is no data, as we created separate report for short term provision with zero suppress and other current liability as another report, keeping heading in local member insert raw above.

    We also get error if there is no data in any entity for any one report.

    (b) We created one template for full sheet and attached local member to dimension member to get heading, but in this case heading come only if attached dimension member has data, else heading will be lost.

    ( in this case we attached local member with Advance from customers)- Since there is zero where heading is also not appearing
