COPA Realignment

Hi CO Guys,

I just want to know that (When ever the characteristic changed in the master record, after the changing of master data we do the COPA Realignment Run, does it update the previous records or it only updates the record after created the Realignment Run?) Please help me in this simple question…

Reignment function is carried out in order to updatevalue of Char master and update all EXISTING RECORD in the system.

Any way new data will receive updated status but by carrying out realignment it impacts existing data and updates master records.
