scrapping loss

Dear All,

Pls guide me how to map the thing is

we bifurcate the scrap loss from actual order and then sell the scrap loss to local market. fresh article r send to our stores.

let me giv n example

i buy 100 kg cabbage from vendor x against a po

in transportation 15kg get damage

i hav to take 100 kg in the stock where 85 kg will b at original price n 15 kg at reduced price.

now 85 kg is sent to stores for retail sell n 15 kg is sold to street vendor.

pls tell me how to map it in sap?

    Hi Vikas,

    This is typically a Scrap sales scenario where normally as you said you do a GR of 100 kg from vendor against a PO and 15 Kg is damaged in transit. Still you are able to sell that 15Kg to the street vendor.

    Pre-requisite of this is you need to maintain the article in value basis (because you are selling in a reduced price and impossible to maintain too many conditions each and every time)

    15Kg of damaged veg sold is posted to a seperate G/L account i.e. trading goods scrap

    The value difference of PO and outgoin payment can be hence adjusted in a particular stock difference account.
