SAP TM 9.3 map visual business

Hello experts,

I am facing some issues with the map in TM 9.3 with Viwual Business 2.1. I installed the internet explorer plug-in as well as the ACF Whitelist. But somehow it does not work as expected. I am not sure what the error is exactly, to be honest. We followed the installation guide (which seems quite easy).

Thanks a lot in advance.

Best Regards,

Christian

Hello Sander,

this is exactly the posts/configuration guide I followed. And they seem so easy (install vb component, install plug-in, maintain SAPTM_TNC in application definitions, whitelist certificate, define settings for geographical map). But somehow it does not work as expected.

Did you got it working? Did I miss any important step?

Hi Christian,

Normally this is an VB issue om your client's machine. Is the plug-in activated?

You can also check if you have created the certificate and installed is on your local machine.

check trx WDR_ACF_GEN_CERT to create the certificate and trx WDR_ACF_WLIST --> Install certificate to install it on your local machine.

Hey Sander,

I reinstalled the plug-in, with the help of an administrator. Run SAP certificate installation and plug-in installation with administrator user as well as mine. Then I opened internet explorer with mine as well as administrator user and I also tried Chrome. It all did not work. Only change is, that I now get error message "E:SACF:440", so 440 instead of 416. You got any idea?

Hi Christian,

Ok, almost out of options here.
can you check if you have activated server via trx: SICF --> default_host -->sap --> bc --> webdynpro --> scmtms -->TNC21? Or do you only have the tnc2 active?

Else, browser version supported? Maybe some kind of firewall blocking traffic?

Sander

Hello Sander,

I always thought it is an issue with the plug-in, but it was an issue with the visual business frontend installation on my computer. So that one is solved, but now I just see a white map.

Do the correct customzing. If you already have done that, set your map settings as default or rigtht click on the map --> Personalise --> Chose map type --> "Your own map config"
