Transformation Migration SAP to ODP SAP

we are currently in the phase of giving this whole migration/conversion a first try.

System is 7.50 with Starter Addon, in compatibily mode. All notes regarding Conversion Toolbox are up-to-date.

We have customer created content (with D-version) and are now phasing the first real issue.

Since the old Source System type "SAP" is no longer valid, we deleted the old "SAP" Source system and created a new "ODP SAP" Source System. During the deletion of the old system, all transformtions regarding the old system, from DS to first layer got also deleted. Nothing special about this.

Then we replicated the new Data Sources from "ODP SAP". During replication, we have named the DataSources like the old ones before.

We we now tried to activate/install the missing transformation from DS to first layer from BI Content again, but the Transformations can not be found anymore.

Can someone tell me, what went wrong?

Is it possbile, that a DELETION of the old system was the wrong step? Maybe a DISCONNECT would be the correct way?

Is there any guide for customer created content and how to handle the migration of it?

Since we can´t be the only one who facing this issue, i hope to hear from someone out there with some help on this issue.

Kind regards

Maximilian Müller

Problem was caused by Deletion of the old System. This had the effect that the D Versions of Transformation from DS to first layer got also deleted.
