Field definititions for CI_SYSTEMOBJECTS, CI_APPOBJECTS, CI_INFOOBJECTS ?

I have on many occasions had need to use QB and other SDK routes into CI_SYSTEMOBJECTS, CI_APPOBJECTS, CI_INFOOBJECTS. What I would like to find from SAP or customer is a full and definitive set of field definitions for these 'tables'. Can anyone provide any assistance please ? Thanks John Bousfield

Hi John,

I don't believe a full list defining the tables is available. The property bags for some objects can be changed or moved or removed as well as new ones added at any time so they are not officially documented unless they are being deprecated.

Query Builder is the best source for finding what properties exist for an objects.

One reference documenting the Types and indexed properties can be found in the Java Developer help guide under:
"Using the Query Language to Retrieve Objects"

Apart from that, I'm not aware of any fully documented list.

I use QB extensively when I'm working with objects where I'm unsure of the structure through the SDK - it gives me the information I need to get to the properties that I'm looking for.

Thanks for the response Daniel, I thought as much.

We make use of QB for queries against the content but not via the SDK.

It sounds then like we will continue just following the obvious relationships.

Thanks and very best,

John.
